Description:

The Custodian role at Newell Coach is an entry level position with the responsibility of helping to maintain a clean, organized, safe working environment at Newell Coach.


Duties:

Job Summary:
The Painter Apprentice Program is a 24-month program designed to provide the experience and training to Paint Apprentices to grow them into Full Production Painters. Apprentice Painters will progress through 3 different skill levels based on performance reviews and skills tests. 
 
Duties:
  • Provide assistance and support for the production paint team.
  • Participate in paint prep duties including sanding, taping, fiberglass repair, etc.
  • Paint booth cleaning and filter replacement as necessary.

Job Summary:
  • Under the direction of the VP of Customer Service and/or Service Manager, the Service Advisor serves as the key point of contact for scheduling, coordinating, and ensuring repair work is done for our customers. Key priority is to communicate the status of repairs and ensure quality work is completed by the technicians.
Duties:
  • -          Verify warranty and service coverage.

    -          Set realistic expectations for customer and ensure you hold to those  expectations.

    -          Prepare Repair Orders by describing the complaint, the cause, and the cure (or repair), as reported by the customer.

    -          Upsell value-added services to the customer when appropriate.

·         This position is responsible for the production of a majority of the print and electronic drawings for Newell Coach production, service remodels and vendor purchasing needs within the company.  This position will also be creating drawings to support sales of new coaches and have some interaction with customers as required.  Qualified candidates should be self-motivated, outgoing and engaging, possessing a high degree of problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Duties:

Job Summary:
  • This role is responsible for managing the regulatory documentation and compliance program for Newell, collaborating with vendors, testing companies, and governmental agencies. This role also works with internal engineering, production and service departments to provide support and analysis on quality issues that arise within the organization, including developing standardized work processes and quality standards where necessary. Duties:
  • Point of contact for all outside regulatory agencies including: NHTSA, CARB, EPA, Transport Canada, and others. Manages company’s effort for compliance reporting and testing, at the direction of the VP of Engineering.
  • Drafts and maintains Quality policies and procedures.
  • Works closely with cross functional leadership to design, measure, analyze, improve and control the quality levels throughout the organization.

The Special Projects Engineer serves as the key liaison between the Project Team, Engineering and Production to ensure coach build deliverables and special options built into the contract are executed for the customer.

Duties:

JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician is an integral part of Newell Coach’s ability to maintain our plant and facilities. The Maintenance Technician must be flexible and respond to growing and changing needs of the company including but not limited to regular standby assignments and work scheduled off-hours due to business needs. Our technicians perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the businesses business goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production, service and office equipment and the plant’s buildings and grounds
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine service.
  • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of plant’s equipment
