Job Summary:

The Production Electrician is responsible for installing, wiring, troubleshooting, and testing electrical systems and components during the manufacturing process. This role requires strong electrical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work from schematics, wiring diagrams, and production specifications while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Job Duties:

  • Install 12V DC and 120/240V AC electrical systems according to engineering requirements and production practices.
  • Route, secure, and terminate wiring harnesses, cables, and electrical components
  • Install and Connect:
    • Chassis electrical systems
    • Lighting systems
    • Inverters and Battery system
    • Shore power systems
    • Generator interfaces
    • Multiplex controls and House Management systems
    • Entertainment and AV systems
    • Appliances and HVAC electrical connections
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
  • Perform continuity, voltage, and functionality testing.
  • Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and applicable electrical codes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in electrical installation, manufacturing, automotive, marine, aerospace, or RV industries preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good attendance and reliability.
