Meet the Newell Coach Sales and Service Team

Grant Kernan has worked for Newell Coach since 2012, serving as the company’s General Manager, and now President and CEO. He is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the business and providing leadership support to the Engineering, Service, Manufacturing and Administrative teams. Prior to coming to Newell Coach, Grant served in executive and marketing roles for several large consumer product manufacturers, focusing on marketing and product development.

Grant received his education at Dartmouth College, where he played on the football team. Grant, his wife Amber, and their children Jackson and Ella live on Grand Lake, where they enjoy boating and spending time with friends and family. 

Cindy Woods joined the company in May of 1996. She is the Executive Assistant and also administers Newell’s health plan and work comp program. Before coming to Newell, she worked for three hospitals, one as Director of Managed Care and the others in Human Resources as a Professional Recruiter, Employment Specialist and HR Generalist.  

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Personnel Management from Oklahoma State University. Cindy loves family time. She is married to Stewart (who also works for Newell Coach) and has three children, Grant, Summer, and Parker and two grandchildren, Cash and Asa. Cindy’s hobbies include spending time in the gym, running, hiking national parks, and traveling.

Kayla Wyrick serves as the Controller for Newell Coach. She has been with the company since 2015.

Nathan Kelly is a Customer Project & Design Manager at Newell Coach, where he coordinates information between the customers, engineering department, and the manufacturing team. He began working at Newell Coach in January of 2015 as a member of the production team, mostly working on installation of cabinet doors and drawers.  Nathan obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Missouri Southern State University. Nathan enjoys spending his free time with his wife Alyssa, and his three kids Noah, Kreed, and Haidyn.  He also enjoys the outdoors, sports, and woodworking.

Richard is a member of the Engineering team and has been with Newell Coach since 2000. He is responsible for the management of each coach’s Bill of Materials, designing the interior cabinetry, drafting, problem solving and general support for the production of all coaches. He was born and raised in the Grove/Grand Lake area and has lived in NE Oklahoma his entire life. Richard and his wife Ronna have three children and seven grandkids.

Tami Kelly has worked at Newell Coach since 2004, starting in the Accounting Department and is now the company’s Material’s Management Supervisor.  She is responsible for the Purchasing Department and the Production and Service Parts Departments, managing both the vendors and inventory.   

Tami and her husband Brian, have two children and one grandchild.  They enjoy boating, fishing and hosting big family cookouts at their country property.

Jake Martin has been with Newell Coach since 2011. Jake started out as the Parts Runner before moving into his current role as a Purchasing Agent. As a Purchasing Agent, he is responsible for forwarding orders to vendors, monitoring and expediting orders, and ensuring materials are available on a day-to-day basis.

Jake stays busy as a Youth Pastor, City Councilman, and serves as the President of the local softball league. Jake is married to his wife and better half, Leandra. Together, they have three children, Lexi, Jaxon, and Lynnix.

Trish Spriggs started working for Newell Coach in 2010 as the Warranty Administrator.  In 2015 she joined the Purchasing team and now works closely with the Design team to acquire all of the custom-ordered interior “pretties” for the interiors of the coaches. 

Trish moved to Oklahoma from her childhood home in Maryland right after graduating from high school, to marry her high school sweetheart, Chris.  They have 2 adult children, Christina and Kyle, who are both pursuing careers in the medical field.
